TRA uses screen monitoring plus AI interpretation to directly monitor the tracks and slopes. If objects show up in monitoring screen and exceed a certain size, last for a certain period, alarms will be triggered and send messages to the control center to tell the pilot. The accuracy of the slope monitoring system must be high enough, otherwise it will affect the train running and operation. In order to avoid false alarms or affect the resolution identification under various adverse conditions, such as heavy rain, fog, strong light or small animal invasion, etc., it spent more than two years to finish the plan. Now, TRA is still planning to build 45 local systems and design the customized one for building sites besides railway. Though the delay on planning schedule is fact, the key point is to ensure the good performance of the system.
