Monitoring System Improvement
Monitoring System
Commonly, monitoring system in railway is refer to the Object Intrusion Monitoring System. According to the report of TRA, this technology is not popular in the world yet. TRA had planned to construct the system in 2020, many experts and scholars were recruited to study and assist to complete the whole system and constantly tested the system to ensure that the accuracy of recognition can reach more than 95%. Therefore, it took a lot of time to test, and it had been tested well in 2021, but there were only 25 places where the system functioned well.

Now, TRA is still planning to build 45 local systems and design the customized one for building sites besides railway. Though the delay on planning schedule is fact, the key point is to ensure the good performance of the system.
What's New
TRA uses screen monitoring plus AI interpretation to directly monitor the tracks and slopes. If objects show up in monitoring screen and exceed a certain size, last for a certain period, alarms will be triggered and send messages to the control center to tell the pilot. The accuracy of the slope monitoring system must be high enough, otherwise it will affect the train running and operation. In order to avoid false alarms or affect the resolution identification under various adverse conditions, such as heavy rain, fog, strong light or small animal invasion, etc., it spent more than two years to finish the plan. Now, TRA is still planning to build 45 local systems and design the customized one for building sites besides railway. Though the delay on planning schedule is fact, the key point is to ensure the good performance of the system.
